Measured while upright and comfortable, keeping your ergonomics in check.

Pupillary distance
The distance in millimetres between the centres of your pupils. The Butterfly Dental Solutions team or any optometrist can measure it in minutes — if an optometrist takes it, make sure it is measured at infinity (∞).
Segment height
The vertical measurement from the bottom of the lens to the beginning of the pupil, needed on 4.0x TTL loupes only. Using the PeriVista marking frame, the line crossing the pupil gives the seg height — 3 is standard.
